Saying goodbye to our Lighthouse director
After more than three years as Lighthouse director, Dee Frighetti will be stepping down from her position as she prepares to move to Arizona to care for her mother. She will stay on through the end of the month.
"It's with a heavy heart that I must announce my resignation," Frighetti said. "It was a privilege to minister to the women and children at the Lighthouse and an honor to work alongside you. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lighthouse, where I will remain a steadfast supporter. Amazing things are happening here, and I pray that you will continue to be a part of the life change that's taking place."
Clayton Coates, who worked closely with Frighetti as the Director of Ventura County Ministries, said the role will be a challenge to fill. "Dee has poured her heart into the women at the Lighthouse and has been instrumental in growing the ministry while re-centering it on Christ," said Coates, now the Chief Ministry Officer. "We are forever grateful for her. Personally, she helped me onboard into this organization and we partnered together on so many different projects from leadership development, graduation planning, community outreach and much more. She will be greatly missed as director, though we know her support for the Lighthouse won't stop."
While the search for the new director is underway, feel free to reach out to Clayton with any questions.
