Help for Men

We're here to help you defeat addictions and reclaim your life.

Emergency Shelter

Be our guest! Our shelter is clean and safe and our friendly staff is here to help you.

Our emergency shelter is open 7 days a week throughout the year. Guests will receive a hearty dinner, a refreshing shower, clean clothes, and a warm bed with clean sheets for the duration of their stay. Case management support is available to assist our guests with finding employment and housing.

There is a limited number of beds and they are granted on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. Guests who stay at the shelter can have a bed for 10 consecutive nights. Guests are required to sign in each night before 5:00 pm to keep their beds.

We will refuse service to anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The Ventura Rescue Mission is a smoke-free environment. No smoking will be allowed in or on the premises.

  • Must have a valid ID or must obtain it with the first 72 hours of stay
  • All shelter guests must get a TB test taken within the first 72 hours of stay
