The Mission expects to welcome 1,000 people at its annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet on Wednesday, Nov. 21. More than 200 volunteers will give their time at the event, and there’s a long list of dignitaries who have signed up as well, including Oxnard Mayor Tim Flynn; Oxnard Police Chief Scott Whitney; Eric Harrison, President and CEO of United Way of Ventura County; and other county and city officials.

The Lighthouse for Women & Children will also be joining the Thanksgiving celebration.
